Default electrolysis vs. laser

I was just wondering if anyone had ever had electrolysis to remove hair? And if so what are the pros and cons vs. laser? Which do you prefer?

I have heard that it is easier to get scarred with electrolysis, mainly because the technician is inserting a needle into the hair follicle.

Never had electrolysis too and so not much idea as to which one is better. Anyways, it is pricking and it hurts that much is know with both.

I have heard that it hurts more than laser. But it seems to be becoming more popular in my area. Oh well broke now at the moment so don't foresee me trying it anytime soon.

"Electrolysis" term itself sounds a bit kind of hurting. Which one among both electrolysis and laser treatment is less cost and more reliable?

I agree just hearing electrolysis sounds like it would hurt. This is like eating with your eyes.

The truth seems to be that in this problem, if you want to get rid of excess hair permanently, it is going to hurt. Depending on the person and their reaction to pain, it will hurt a bit or a lot.

Here's an article I found with some information:

ammulu: Agreed, I would also be interested in a cost comparison.

Read the article you specified Reviewer, checked out the time it takes for the treatment to be done and it varies in hours when compared to laser that is done in minutes. It is surprising to have so much time difference but which one is more reliable and effective does matter to me.

I have to agree, there's going to be pain either way, though from what I have heard laser is the way to go. It really depends on how much money you have and what suits your needs as well.
