Default Beard Hair Removal Advice

A friend of mind has had several laser treatments to remove his beard hair, and chest hair. The treatments seem to be working much faster at removing the chest hair. But with the beard hair it's a different story. It seems to be taking many treatments which have thinned his beard hair. But it doesn't seem to be getting all the hairs. His hair is dark almost black but he's older and some of the hairs have turned gray. Could this be the problem?

Also he would like to know if some scabbing is normal-scabs invisible to the naked eye but do feel like hair growth.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The reason that your friend's beard is taking way longer to do opposed to his chest is because the beard hair is generally WAY thicker due to being shaved so many times. Unfortunately for hair that has turned grey, laser hair removal will not work as the laser is attracted to pigment in the hair and grey hair lacks pigment.

Light scabbing is nothing to be worried about. It just means that the laser is set fairly high, but most likely needs to be set that high in order to work.

Laser hair removal is not only for girls any more. Many men have started joining in the removal of unnecessary hair on the face permanently. Laser beard removal is a method that can be used by men and women as well.
